Our Mission
PROTECT SALINAS is a political action committee (PAC) established to provide independent expenditure support for candidates locally in Salinas, California.
Protect Salinas Committee, organized by Former Monterey County Supervisor Butch Lindley. Who, like many others, is concerned with the state of Salinas City Government.
Our mission at the Protect Salinas Committee is to support the election of reasonable candidates who prioritize public safety, responsible government, and economic growth.
The Protect Salinas Committee will fund efforts to responsibly select candidates and approve every independent expenditure done on their behalf, including television, radio and direct mail.
Protect Salinas Committee has local supporters and is actively seeking others to join the effort.
Under state and federal election law, independent expenditure campaigns must be truly independent. As such, no communication between the Protect Salinas Committee and the candidates we support is permitted. We adhere to this prohibition absolutely, without exception.
